Specifications
General material: Construction is 302/304 stainless steel throughout with 400 stainless steel pole plates. Top wedge and bottom are 11 ga. Pole plates and side panels are 13 and 16 ga., respectively. End plates are 1/4" thick.
Magnet material: High-density Ceramic V permanent magnetic material.
Magnet design: 2-pole and 3-pole, high reachout circuits.
Construction: Welded into an integral unit.
Contaminant removal: Ferrous fragments, nuts, bolts, and other tramp iron from free flowing materials.
Method of cleaning: Manual, from hatch or opening in spouting.
Styles: Wedge-shaped profile.
Sizes: Available 5 13/16" high, 2 5/16" thick, and in lengths as ordered. To approximate weight, multiply length in inches by 2 pounds per inch.

Uses: Protect product purity and processing equipment where chemicals, plastics resins, grain, feedstuffs, etc. are handled in bulk. Designed for mounting in easily accessible vertical chutes near final discharge.

How to Select
Choose an accessible location in your spouting, near the final discharge area or ahead of a pellet mill. For the correct size, measure the width of your chute at the exact position where you intend to mount the magnet. Magnet height of 5 13/16" and maximum width of 2 5/16" do not vary. Installation is easy. Position the magnet to facilitate inspection and manual cleaning. Mark the locations of the 5/16" tapped holes in the magnet’s end plates. Then drill four holes in the sides of the chute to accommodate four mounting bolts.
